Environmental Statement for ArmourColor Products

Armourcoat as a company has a policy of making all products as environmentally friendly as possible from the sourcing of raw materials, though to manufacture, packaging, application and in-service life of our products.

All ArmourColor products are water-based with only sufficient co-solvent additions to ensure good application and performance properties. They have low VOC levels, which conform to the current EPA requirements.

ArmourColor products are made using high quality acrylic and PU resins, making them very durable and thus increasing their overall life cycles. All products have reasonable to good levels of patch repair thus further reducing product usage during annual maintenance. They are designed that should a change be required, they can be over-coated with minimal mechanical abrasion, thus reducing levels of maintenance originated dust pollution.

All ArmourColor products are lead free.

All ArmourColor topcoat products are formulated to include long term protection against mould, mildew and bacterial growth, thus minimizing any risk of health effects such as 30 allergic reactions, asthma attacks, and hypersensitivity pneumonitis.

Armourcoat is constantly reviewing it’s packaging usage and looking for way to include recycled material as well as using materials which can be fully recycled.

As with all Armourcoat products work is constantly being carried out to make ArmourColor products even more environmentally friendly.
